As I’ve said before, it’s our very language that defeats us. It’s next to impossible to explain to someone a verb when they’ve been raised from birth thinking it’s a noun. It’s not that they can’t understand it, most can. The challenge is that even after someone learns it, immediately the next time they use it in conversation, it’s impossible to speak English properly when confusing verb and noun! The whole language breaks down.

In the opening verses in complicated language, it is explained that the foundation of faith in God’s word is based on God’s own action. From nothing, He spoke and everything came into existence.
So his word is more real than what his word created.
We’re going to look at one of two men in the Old Testament that God would choose as he scanned the spectrum of history for those that could encourage Jesus on the mount of transfiguration.
He couldn’t find better than Elijah and Moses.
That’s Elijah’s credentials. That’s a high credential.
Christians have been lied to for years. I am guilty of this mistake as much as anyone else, it’s built into the English language and we’ve been taught our entire life something wrong.
